Is it possible for a troupe of all-white teaching artists to create a culturally sensitive pageant to celebrate Native American Heritage Month? Through blistering satire, THE THANKSGIVING PLAY dissects "wokeness," Thanksgiving, colonialism, education, good intentions, cultural legacy, the dangers of what stories get told and who is in the room to tell and hear them.
